Street Fighter! YEAH!

Any way, heres my two favorite character from the series, kinda polar opposites I know.

I wonder If it ever occurred to Sakura that she was wearing that, especially with all the kicks she throws. Maybe she's taken one to many blows to the head.

Also, Akuma is such a badass character, still want to bring him to a finish but for now its sketchy sketchy.

I always thought Rolento was just a super cool fighter. Am I wrong? Also, Rashad has the right idea with Fei Long - another one of the coolest fighters in the series. Enjoy.

Mega Catch up Post 1

hey guys it's been a minute but here are a few images. some will be old like this weeks street fighter entry and the miyazaki one (which proves i was somewhere right near dove at the Miyazaki museum in Japan) lol.

Fei Long. (a.k.a Bruce Lee) man this makes me think we need a fighting game week. So many awesome characters to choose from (Fatal Fury, Samurai Showdown, Darkstalkers, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Guitly Gear, that new one that's like Guilty Gear but has a different name......)

Dhalsim!

As a kid, whenever I got to play Street Fighter in any of it's versions, I would almost always pick Dhalsim. I loved the guy! It's probably because I could sit in my corner and stretch-punch/kick anyone who came close to me--easy win. It was annoying as anything to anyone I played against (just ask Phillip).

I know jack squat about Street Fighter. (I say that a lot while posting here. Either I'm too old? or my tastes are weird?) Anyhoo, so here's my best attempt at drawing one of these characters. Hi-yaaaaa! It's ink and copic airbrush on illustration board. dove.

Street Fighter Manege

so there's some small costume things that are off, just left and right things, but overall i think i captured the energy very well. did this for the periodic heroes blog. vega was always my fave.
ps: street fight er 2 the anime is what got me started on anime - so good. the jean claude movie is so bad its good, the rise of chun li is sooo bad its just really bad - james how can you not like the games? esp vs x-men/marvel? those are the best. havent played the new one though.
