Jetpack! and others

So I changed gmail accounts and all my previous stuff is gone before that point so I am posting it here with my jetpack character. I chose Luna Starlight.

Jetpack Shark!

So, we have a week of characters with jetpacks, so naturally I decided that the best option for myself was to draw a shark... with a jetpack.

Booba Fett

Rocket Packs are cool. So is Star Wars. So are girls.

Goonie Goo Goo

I really wanted to get my own Goon in here, but I've been a bit crunched for time lately. So I took just a little bit of time after work to sketch, and as I was doing it I thought, "Why don't I just post the sketch?"

...so I'm posting the sketch. Sketches tend to have an extra measure of life, y'know?

Enjoy.

THE GOON and Franky

Alright so here's my two cents about this guy since I chose this week, I love this character, there is no way to not love him, it is hands down one of the best indy comics out there and the great shame is that not enough people read it. So if you don't read it GO PICK UP A TRADE AND GET STARTED! I had plans to get this thing inked and looking awesome sadly real life along with other projects got in the way but an inked version is coming. Enjoy everyone and again go pick up a trade!

The Goon

Quick and dirty sketch - trying to warm up my skills for MegaCon this weekend.

Lady Namor

couldn't decide which one was better so i posted both.

also i know there's a namora but i thought it'd be cool to draw a girl with black adam/namor/vegeta hair lol.

Genderbend Beast Boy

Beast Boy --- err, Girl, as it were. I admit that my favorite version of the Teen Titans was the Cartoon Network production.

Batarang girl

I defiantly grew up with the yellow, light blue and gray batgirl with red hair hanging out the back, and Jose Luis Garcia Lopez artwork in general, who until recently I always thought was Neal Adams. I know this probably doesn't count but I thought I'd post it anyways.

X-many

Always sexy, first started to like her from the Generation-X live action pilot in the 90's.

Always a heated battle between these two.

Here I was going for a very Steve Dillon face here, love this drawing.

Don't ask me it just kind of happened. Maybe if wolverine got stuck in the Savage Lands too long?

Heads up!

One of my fav characters in the marvel U. Though I love the black costume with white tennis shoes so much more than the red, even the yellow and red was awesome, though impractical. With the red suit its basically like drawing Silver Surfer with horns, lol.

Fantastic Futon

Just a random scene of the mayhem that might ensue on any given movie night in the baxter building.

Donatello

Hey guys, I'm new but had a lot of artwork backlogged for wanting to join, so I'll be posting a bunch. As of now I'm a guest artist and we'll see if I get to stick around or not, but in the mean time I'll be adding a bunch.

Donatello was always my fav. I was going for a very organic almost Mad! feel.

Robin and Nightwing

I'm sure someone's going to comment that I know nothing about nightwing or robin's costume.  Its true.  I'm more of a manga nerd than a comic nerd.  Here they are regardless though.  Girl Robin and Lady Nightwing.

Ladies of the Big Two

This week, we're doing female versions of male superheroes. Cause girls rule. Here is a piece I've been working on for a bit. Another print I'm going to do at conventions this year.

BatGir

So, I know nothing about Zim - but I probably need to watch it now. Seems awesome.
Inspired by James' Doom - I present BATGIR!

Whatchu Know 'Bout DOOM

GIR!

Its GIR!!!!!
GIR!!!!

Invader Zim

Invader Zim looked so cool. I remember seeing the commercials before it came out and just loving how angular and funky everything looked. Plus, the hot pinks, greens and purples were such a perfect color palette. Long live Zim!

Gambit

One of my favorit characters from the x-men, I just like the idea of a guy who can blow up everything he touches.

X-Men

So, I have the magical powers of a dead keyboard, and now at a working keyboard, I can add my intended comments to this image...
The X-men pretty much got me into comics. Specifically, the early to mid 90s stuff by Jim Lee and later Joe Mad, so I had to draw up my favorites of that era. Each of the three just have so many neat little quirks, flaws, and powers that really appealed to my teenage brain. Hopefully, I've done my childhood self some justice with this image...
