Friends til the end.

So I was feeling pretty excited about getting to go to Japan last night, so I decided to watch Akira. Then I decided to draw some Akira too. Hope you guys like it.

So I've been in a pretty bad creative slump lately, and whenever that happens it always smart to get some artistic frustration out and do something youve been wanting to for awhile.

Plus I needed to post here again, its been awhile. This is for the video game characters week.
Does anyone know what this is? No? Hmmmmm, you may be better off never knowing what this is to be honest.

If your feeling like you don't want to sleep tonight and want to lean around ever corner of your house for week, however, go look up Amnesia: The dark decent.

Rock (mucka-luckin') Lee

One of my all time favorite characters from ANYTHING!

I'm not very good, I just try harder than everyone else. Great Philosophy.

Mononoke Hime

Miyazaki week catch up.

Boom.

Street Fighter! YEAH!

Any way, heres my two favorite character from the series, kinda polar opposites I know.

I wonder If it ever occurred to Sakura that she was wearing that, especially with all the kicks she throws. Maybe she's taken one to many blows to the head.

Also, Akuma is such a badass character, still want to bring him to a finish but for now its sketchy sketchy.

Trying to catch up with my two favorite cyborgs.

Hey all. It's been awhile. I finally decided to start participating again around here instead of being a useless lump, so bear with me. Remember waaaaaay back when, when there was a week about mecha? Yeah I didn't think you would, but any how, heres my entry for it.

It's Motoko Kusanagi with a tachikoma from GITS. I threw in Noa from Sky Doll as well, just for shits and giggles. (I almost drew Alita as well, but there wasn't any room left).

Im gona try to catch up with the rest of the weeks too. (Here's hoping)

Gatchaman

Thats right...I'm back! With a little Gatchaman for your ass. Oh, whats that? You don't know about Gatchaman? Well just ask your mom about it. Cuz I told her all about it last night. BOOOM!!!!

The Harley and the Ivy

Ok, so when I started this piece, I didn't realize that Harley and Ivy are often in cahoots in the comics, I just picked them both randomly. Funny how that works out. I also did cat woman. I was tryin to make these more "Super hero-y" I have mixed feelings about it, but overall not bad.

Forever Young

Late again...as usual.

Any way, Waterson has always been a big inspiration for me. One of my favorite childhood memories is reading those big volume-ized editions of all his comics. I still think he does the best winter scene ever.

Biebs

Moar stuff for inking techniques. This is all brush.

The jet pack is back there...I swear!

Ok, well maybe I lied, but I haven't posted for a minute and I thought that cool lookin space girl could limbo under the bar on this one.......sue me. I've never been a big fan of jet packs anyway, the legs would be burned off instantly! I mean, come on!!!!

Anyway, hope you enjoy this crap, I've been practicing with the G-nib for inking techniques.

Late night paint jam with Mol

In an effort to constantly 1 up Mr. Sevy, I decided that I should do Molotov for this week too. You aint got no color PHIL!!!!!!!!

Molly Spots a crab

Ok Guys. I know I'm sorta the last horse to cross the finish line on the runaways but I wanted to make a splash (get it?) being this is my first post on the wonderful blog-o-fun. I decided to go a little rogue with it and put the runaways crew on vacation. With the leap frog at their disposal, they could go to any deserted tropical island they wanted to, right? Poor Old Lace though, shes afraid of the beach.
