Would anyone care to kick some shell?

Alright this is my submission for ninja turtles, I'm pretty damn happy with these, and decided that it was actually worth posting both. I was always a big fan of these guys growing up so getting to draw them more the way I'd like to see them these days rather than the cartoon I always knew them from was a lot of fun.

Heroes In a Half Shell

True Story: I was not allowed to watch or play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles growing up. Which, being the age I am, is like not letting your child now eat food. Apparently my parents didn't like the fact that my and my brothers ninja kicked the hell out of each other when we did watch it, so it was outlawed.

A lil late

but it's done, lol.

Wasn't really into this book when it was running (felt like they didn't do much stuff in a single issue), but fell in love with them in the last year or so, due in huge part with me sketching them for fun. (and reading it in trade format, works much better) great cast and mix of personalities and powers. hopefully marvel will give these guys another shot sometime soon.

Molly Spots a crab

Ok Guys. I know I'm sorta the last horse to cross the finish line on the runaways but I wanted to make a splash (get it?) being this is my first post on the wonderful blog-o-fun. I decided to go a little rogue with it and put the runaways crew on vacation. With the leap frog at their disposal, they could go to any deserted tropical island they wanted to, right? Poor Old Lace though, shes afraid of the beach.

The Gang's All Alive

I was super excited to draw up the Runaways cast, and I picked to draw up my favorite characters from the cast. When I originally drew this there was no Molly, so yes, I had to find a way to squeeze her in there. The comic and concept is an awesome and new one, so if you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. It's really a shame the book isn't still running when you can get like 5 Deadpool titles... And we wonder why the comics industry is in such trouble...

Posin'

Chase and Molly were always my favorite duo out of the Runaways gang. Admittedly they never really paired up super-hero style, but when they interacted it always felt like a big brother/little sister dynamic, even though she could pound him into paste. That always amused me. So here they are, posing all tough-like for the camera. Old lace had to get in on the action, too.

Who Doesn't Love Dinos!?

An alien, a witch, time traveling dinosaurs - what's not to love about this series?!?!

Runaways, by Brian K. Vaughn is brilliant - go read it. I chose to draw the 12 year old and the psychic velociraptor from the future (how awesome is that?).
A little simple, yes, but it was drawn in the car because I was out of town for a week.
