Trying to catch up!

Okay, so I've been out for a while but here I am trying to keep up. I may end up skipping a few post but here are the Indiana Jones and the Pulp heroes drawings.

For the Indiana Jones I went with the Doctors. This has to be my favorite movie of the three and I really love the dynamic between the two of them. (Even though my dad started calling me Junior because of this movie).

And as for the Pulp Hero I decided to go with The Shadow. It's no secret that I really like dark characters and even that awful Alec Baldwin movie was entertaining to watch.

Ah good ol' Indiana Jones, who doesn't love this guy.  Unlike a few to many of todays action stars Indy is the real deal, the guy has fought Nazis, heart ripping cultist, more Nazis, academics, ya know if you think about it for a while Indy is kind of a jerk, how many people has he just indiscriminately killed?  Regardless I love these movies, and I tend to switch back and fourth between which I like more Last Crusade or Raiders, but for the sake of the drawing we're going with Last Crusade.  And for 5 points name what the cross Indy has in his satchel is called, GO!

Not enough Indy

Ok people, One reason I chose this was because I really wanted to see what all of you guys could do with the world's best action hero. SO DO IT!!!since the Indy posts are a bit thin this week (just quantity, not quality) , I figure I'll compensate a bit. These are a few of the Indy sketch cards I've done. I have a man-crush on Indiana Jones

So these are from a media experimentation class I took back when I was dating my wife. We used to tease our (awesome!) professor about his Brad Pitt man-crush, so one day I decided to get his back and admit my own manly crush on Indy. And what an awesome theme song!

Those who know me probably understand my level of fanaticism for the Indiana Jones property. First it was Star Wars,...then Indy, and the films were timed perfectly to RULE my early years. Many an afternoon was spent in the backyard digging up "tombs" and fighting off natives. So I decided to do a piece that focused more on the "treasure". Also, I was thinking of offering a print of this piece if anyone is interested. Oh and I threw in a page of fun fan comic (one of many I've done, can't hurt to dream)

Hot Nazi Chick

Okay, so, Marion might be the best female character of the Indy Jones movies, but I love Elsa Schneider. Last Crusade will always be my favorite and Elsa is just awesome in that movie. Not only is she hot and duplicitous, there's a genuine humanity to her.
