Hulk part 1

Here's the first of two Hulk portraits, the next one maybe tomorrow? I've been having a lot of fun painting recently, and I have done a bunch more of these over at my blog. Go check em out, and they are all for sale too, so buy one.

Mr. Green

So, my favorite iteration of the Hulk is Bruce Jones' "Return of the Monster" era Hulk. Yeah, most people complain about it now cause the Hulk was seldom seen - like a monster who only pops up now and then - but it was brilliant and so against-type. Made a compelling, fascinating read that I still need to finish (read the first two years, but got away from comics for a while, so need to go back and fill in the gaps).

One of my favorite things was that Bruce Banner shaved his head - and the Hulk was bald TOO! SO cool. Plus this Kaare Andrews covers were unreal cool.

Black and White here.

Hulk

"AGH Hulk am wish him not Red/Green Color blind!!! It hard for HULK to find matching pants!"

HULK SMASH

HULK SMASSSHHHH!

SMAAAAAAASH!

I always imagine Hulk as a big, dumb 6 year old kid. He's much more scarier that way.
