Okay, so, Marion might be the best female character of the Indy Jones movies, but I love Elsa Schneider. Last Crusade will always be my favorite and Elsa is just awesome in that movie. Not only is she hot and duplicitous, there's a genuine humanity to her.
Playing more with markers and tones this time.
she also hates arrogant men so.....keep that in mind
ReplyDeletePhillip, this looks and feels like you had fun with it! Did you just dig getting into the style (clothing) of the period--because it looks like it. Really fun--and where did you find the Indy font?
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah, it was a fun quickie. It's always fun to try and draw baggy clothes that don't drown out the form (and by "fun" I mean "hard"). The font is called "SF Fedora" and you can get it free at dafont.com. I just added the gradient and then transformed it to make it fade back.
DeleteThe Last Crusade is also my favorite Indie movie. Just the idea of having James Bond and Indiana Jones in the same film blows my mind.
ReplyDeleteAnd it *not* be Cowboys and Aliens.
DeleteUgh.
What a piece of crap.
